All About Honey: From Aperitif to Dessert with Amina Harris, Queen Bee; Z Specialty Food, LLC and Founding Director, Honey and Pollination Center, UC Davis, Retired.

Amina will lead a sensory evaluation and tasting of three different honeys, discuss suggested pairings, and culinary uses, as well as discuss a wide range of honey and pollination subjects, while guests enjoy an aperitif cocktail made with honey and an appetizer of honey-drizzled goat cheese and honey pecans. Each guest will receive a bag with three mini-honey jars for tasting – Orange Blossom, Star Thistle, and Coriander – a California tasting. The guest bag also includes printed tasting notes sheet for each honey.

A wide range of honeys and honey-related products from Z Specialty Foods will also be available for purchase.
