Join us to learn about the storied history of this very “California” variety at our second Wine 101 Series session. We will be joined by Carole Meredith, retired Professor of Viticultural and Enology at the University of Califorina, Davis. Carole’s research determined the genetic heritage of this and other well-known grape varieties. We will taste several vintages of Berryessa Gap Vineyards Zinfandel along with a few other special wines. Local nuts will also be shared and paired with the wines. Tickets are $29.
